Curriculum Information

At St. Margaret’s we strive to deliver a curriculum which is inspiring and goes beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum.  Our last OFSTED stated that ‘the curriculum, built around themes, fascinates pupils and encourages them to be independent and find things out for themselves.’ It also noted that ‘teachers make learning interesting and plan carefully to meet the needs of the different ages and abilities of pupils in their classes.’  We continue to plan themes which integrate areas of the national curriculum. We are also very keen to develop children’s interests as well as using their talents. By using our purpose built facilities, we are able to offer enrichment activities in music and cookery and have a productive school garden.
